EDENBRIDGE are a Gothic Metal, or to use the band's own terminology "Angelic Bombastic Metal", act out of Linz created by guitar and keyboard wizard and former solo star LANVALL( real name Arne Stockhammer) during 1998. EDENBRIDGE is fronted by the vocal talents of Sabine Edelsbacher. Drummer Roland Navratil is a members of Metal band STORMWARNING.

EDENBRIDGE's debut album 'Sunrise In Eden' would witness a guest contribution on Sitar from the esteemed Austrian Progressive Rock veteran GANDALF and a final mix courtesy of PINK CREAM 69 bassist Dennis Ward. The band's second album 'Arcana', which found original guitarist Georg Edelmann's place taken by another STORMWARNING member Andreas Eibler, would be licensed to Sensory Records in America, King Records in Japan and the South Korean Dream On concern for a lavish double vinyl set.

Sabine Edelsbacher would guest on the 2001 debut album from Argentinean Symphonic Metal band BETO VASQUEZ INFINITY. She would also lend her talents to the 2002 Rock Opera project MISSA MERCURIA assembled by a union of PINK CREAM 69, SILENT FORCE and VANDEN PLAS personnel, Edelsbacher portraying the character role of the 'Water goddess'.

EDENBRIDGE readied a new studio album 'Aphelion' for early 2003 release. Limited edition variants included a CD 3D sleeve with extra track and a double vinyl format, also with extra material, restricted to 500 copies. SILENT FORCE and ex-ROYAL HUNT singer D.C.COOPER appeared as a special guest on the nine minute epic track 'Red Ball In Blue Sky'.

EDENBRIDGE topped 'The Magic Of Angels' tour of Germany in May, packaged alongside running mates SIRENIA, TRAIL OF TEARS, BATTLELORE and SALTATIO MORTIS.

Sabine Edelsbacher donated vocals to a 2003 album from British Progressive Rock act POWER QUEST. She would also lend her talents, characterised as 'Nimue', to GARY HUGHES 'Once And Future Kings' Arthurian concept undertaking, vocalising on the tracks 'To Believe Enough To Fight', a duet with MAGNUM's BOB CATLEY, and 'The Pagan Dream'.

EDENBRIDGE revealed they were to film their appearance at the March 2004 'Building a Force' festival at Stadthalle Widdern, Heilbronn, Germany for subsequent DVD and live album release 'A Livetime In Eden'. Meantime, the group cut tracks for their fourth studio album 'Shine' during the Summer, laying down guitar, bass and keyboards at Farpoint Station Studios whilst vocals and drums were put down at House of Audio Studios with producer Dennis Ward.

Roland Navratil acted as temporary live drummer for Norwegian act SIRENIA's Winter 2004 European tour dates. EDENBRIDGE, inducting new guitarist Martin Mayr as replacement for Andreas Eibler, formed an alliance with ANGRA and MANTICORA for 2005 European shows.

A new EDENBRIDGE album, 'The Grand Design' recorded at The Farpoint Station studio in Austria and the Thin Ice facility in England with THRESHOLD's Karl Groom behind the desk, emerged in May 2006. Guest contributors included PINK CREAM 69's Dennis Ward and Dutch keyboard maestro ROBBY VALENTINE. A single, a cover version of the James Bond theme tune classic 'For Your Eyes Only', preceded the album in April.

EDENBRIDGE announced ASGARD's Robert Schoenleitner as second guitarist in September. UK shows in November saw ADASTREIA as support. The group, having signed to austrian imprint Napalm Records for a world-wide deal, then partnered with VISIONS OF ATLANTIS for New Year shows across Taiwan and China hitting Taipei, Hong Kong, Dongguan, Shanghai and Beijing.

EDENBRIDGE issued a double CD compilation, entitled 'The Chronicles Of Eden' in May. The set contained three new, previously unreleased songs, all of the Japanese and European bonus tracks to that date and a second disc of tracks from the previous five albums. In March 2007 EDENBRIDGE parted ways with drummer Roland Navratil quoting "personal, musical and financial differences."

EDENBRIDGE's sixth studio album, 'MyEarthDream', was released in Europe in April 2008 via Napalm Records. Bassist Frank Binding exited in November 2008.
