Vancouver's TENET is a 2002 formation hosting some of the most respected names in the Progressive Metal scene. Fronted by STRAPPING YOUNG LAD guitarist Jed Simon TENET also incorporated ex-FORBIDDEN, BIZARRO and TESTAMENT guitarist Glen Alvelais, former GRIP INC. bassist Stuart Carruthers and STRAPPING YOUNG LAD drummer Gene Hoglan, a seasoned campaigner boasting credentials with the likes of DARK ANGEL, DEATH, TESTAMENT, DAEMON, DREAMS OF DAMNATION, WARGOD, OLD MAN'S CHILD and THE ALMIGHTY PUNCHDRUNK. Fronting up the whole affair for a DEVIN TOWNSEND produced 2003 debut 'Sovereign' would be the esteemed personage of former SACRIFICE and current INTERZONE singer Rob Urbinati.

In July 2008 TENET welcomed in new vocalist Steve 'Zetro' Souza, a veteran of EXODUS.
