Karviná Electro Metal group GALACTIC INDUSTRY was assembled during 2001. The band recorded four tracks for the session 'Promo 2001' at Citron studios in Ostrava. Signing to the Popron Music Company the band's debut album, 'Perfect Life?', was released in March 2002. A promotional EP entitled 'Lost Man' arrived in 2005. For these recordings GALACTIC INDUSTRY employed drummer Marthus (a.k.a. Martin Škaroupka), a scene veteran of INNER FEAR, HAPPY DEATH, MONASTERY and ENTRAILS.

In November 2006 Martin Škaroupka stepped up into the international league when he was announced as new drummer for CRADLE OF FILTH.
