An Århus brutal Death Metal / Grindcore quintet. PANZERCHRIST include ex-ILLDISPOSED drummer Michael Enevoldsen in the line-up. Later memberships had female bassist Karina Bundgaard taking the place of Nikolaj Brink. The band name was inspired by the DARKTHRONE album 'Panzerfaust'.

A six track 1995 demo led to a record deal. Guitarist Jens Christensen was added to the group prior to recording of the '6 Seconds To Kill' album. ILLDISPOSED man Bo Summer joined the band for 2000's 'Soul Collector'. The album, sung in German, comprised entirely of songs devoted to second world war German panzers.

Former PANZERCHRIST guitarist Finn Henriksen was later to be found in Norwegian Black Metal band ALLFADER. For recording of a 2003 album, 'Room Service', PANZERCHRIST's line-up stood at ILLDISPOSED man Bo Summers on vocals, guitarists Rasmus Henriksen and Frederik O'Carroll, bassist Michael Enevoldsen with the EXMORTEM credited Reno Kiillerich on the drums. That same year the PANZERCHRIST duo of guitarist/bassist Michael Kopietz of and drummer Reno Kiilerich founded the brutal Death Metal band KOBEAST in collaboration with Søren 'Azazel' Jensen of GRANHAMMER, IRON FIRE and CORPUS MORTALE repute. Both Kopietz and Kiilerich also have affiliations with FROZEN SUN and 12 GAUGE. In late 2003 Reno Kiilerich joined fabled North American Death Metal band VILE. The drummer stepped up a further league in March of the following year when he was recruited as session man for DIMMU BORGIR's European, South American and US 'Ozzfest' festival dates, and in early 2005 would be laying down studio drums for OLD MAN'S CHILD.

In April 2005 former EXMORTEM man Michael Pedersen took over the drum position from Reno Kiilerich. Further changes in the band roster saw the addition of FAIRYTALE ABUSE keyboard player Dea Lillelund as the group worked on new album recordings for the Neurotic label. In January 2006 Kiilerich joined Anglo-Danish collaboration DOWNLORD. Drafting DIE drummer Bent Nyeng, the band entered Antfarm Studio with producer Tue Madsen that month to record the album 'Batallion Beast'. However, no sooner had the band commenced work it was revealed Reno Kiilerich was once again manning the drums. PANZERCHRIST wrapped up these sessions in mid March. Adding another major act to his scoreboard, Kiilerich temped for HATE ETERNAL's European dates in May.

Mighty Music announced it was to reissue PANZERCHRIST's 2003 'Room Service' and 2000 'Soul Collector' albums for December 2006. The Prutten Records sub-division also put out the group's debut 1995 demo on limited-edition vinyl. Meantime, a brand new studio album 'Bello' was projected for 2007.
