Helsinki "dark sounding melodic pagan tune" Metal outfit ANIMA put out a three track demo, recorded at Studio Robastation, through the Korben Dallas imprint in the summer of 2005. Band members held a strong tradition on the city's scene. Bassist Janne Immonen holds WALTARI, VERENPISARA and ALL HUMAN SUBSTITUTES credentials. Drummer Jussi Latvala is ex-TENEBRAE, SHAMAN, AIGI, VIRAGO and DIFFERENT ARE. Guitarist Tero Rissanen held prior credits with JET, UNDEEMED, ETHEREAL and GUILLOTINE. Second guitarist Mika Rissanen previously performed with JET and REDUCED TO ASH and also played drums for FOUR BITCHES. Vocalist Animatias (a.k.a. Matias Reenpää) operates as drummer for KICKSTART.
