Technical Death Metal act HACRIDE, taking the title from "Acrid" and created during 2001 in Poitiers, opened with a 2003 demo entitled 'Cyanide Echoes' produced by Matthieu Metzger. Recording line-up involved singer Samuel Bourreau, guitarist Adrien Grousset, former LATRODECTUS bass player Benoist Danneville with Olivier Laffond on drums.

The band featured the track 'The Daily Round' on the 2005 Listenable Records French Metal compilation 'Revolution Calling'. The band issued their debut album 'Deviant Current Signals', recorded by Franck Hueso, in 2005.

HACRIDE issued the follow up 'Amoeba' in February 2007. This set, recorded at L'Autre Studio and co-produced by the band with Frank Hueso, included a cover version of OJOS DE BRUJO's 'Zambra'. The band toured France and Switzerland in May 2007 partnered with KLONE and AYGGHON.

The band's next album, 'Lazarus', was issued in April 2009 via Listenable Records. The album was recorded at Loko Studio in Normandie, France with producers Franck Hueso and Marc Casanova.
