Biography

CREED is a German Christian Metal act founded in 1982 by guitarists Udo Libutzky and Dee Dee Huege, bassist Tihomir Casni and drummer Claus Binder. Huege would bow out in 1986 as the band introduced singer Jessy Baron for the EP 'Creed'. The next casualty would be Binder, superseded by new drummer Matt Staiger. Following 1990's 'Sign Of Voctory' album both Baron and Libutzky departed.

CREED's revised line up for 1992 added singer Thommy Rausz and guitarist Hans E. Mickel, with second guitarist Andy Gutjahr coming onboard some two years later. Joachim Joos took over the drum position in 1995.
