Biography

ILL PROPHECY is noted for being the first professional band of HELLOWEEN vocalist MICHAEL KISKE. The band, founded in 1984 by ex-CHAOS guitarist Raico Ebel, recorded a five track demo in 1986 before Kiske opted out to join HELLOWEEN for their landmark 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys' opus. It is worth noting that HELLOWEEN subsequently re-worked two ILL PROPHECY era tracks, 'A Little Time' and 'You'll Always Walk Alone'. ILL PROPHECY also recorded demos produced by HELLOWEEN guitarist Kai Hansen utilising TYRAN PACE, and latter day GAMMA RAY and PRIMAL FEAR, singer Ralph Scheepers.

Guitarist Raico Ebel joined NOT FRAGILE for their 1988 album 'Who Dares Wins'. Ebel and bassist Patrick Hampe duly forged MAD ALIEN, notably working with Ralph Scheepers once again. Following a tenure with SISYPHUS, Ebel and Hampe founded HUSK OF PRIDE in 1997.
