Although inactive the Black Metal experimental Duo from Ttre Enebakk, formed in 1991, still command huge respect. Svein Egil Hatlevik of FLEURETY is also known under his nom de guerres of 'Hologram', 'Zweizz' and 'Mr. Magic Logic' of DHG (DØDHEIMSGARD). FLEURETY debuted with a 1993 demo titled 'Black Snow' and are particularly noted for their distinctive high pitched screaming vocal technique. Signing to UK label Aesthetic Death, FLEURETY issued the 1995 album 'Min Tid Skal Komme' as a joint venture with the Misanthropy label. During 1997 guitarist Alexander Nordgaren became live guitarist for MAYHEM's world tour.

FLEURETY's 2000 album 'Department of Apocalyptic Affairs' boasts an impressive guest list of Black Metal elite. On drums is Einar Sjurso of BEYOND DAWN and Carl Michael Eide of AURA NOIR and VED BUENS ENDE. Keyboards are contributed by Sverd of ARCTURUS. Even MAYHEM's Maniac puts in a showing.

Alexander Nordgren also operates I LEFT THE PLANET. Due to prevailing interest in FLEURETY a series of re-releases and compilations was projected for 2003. As ZWEIZZ, Svein Egil Hatlevik released the limited edition 7" single 'Black Necrotic Obfuscation' in 2004.
