GLITTERTIND from Lillesand, Norway is the solo concern of Torbjørn Sandvik ('Trym Ingersson'), just eighteen years old when he cut the debut album 'Evige Asatro'. Offering Metal edged Punk the project imbued its works with "old national romantic art, tales and traditions from Scandinavia". The album, adding extra tracks 'Norges Skaal' and 'Skumring', would be re-issued by New Aeon Media in 2004.

The April 2005 release, 'Til Dovre Faller', saw additional keyboards supplied by Henri Sorvali of FINNTROLL and MOONSORROW. GLITTERTIND expanded to a full-blown band project in February of 2006. joining Sandvik in the group would be Mads Lerberg from SILENT VANQUISH on rhythm guitar, Andreas Paulsen of DEAD TROOPER and LEFT AMONG THE LIVING on bass plus Anders Eek, of FUNERAL, FALLEN, THE FLESH, MYRKSKOG and ODIUM repute on drums.
