Biography
Oslo's ancestral Folk Metal band STORM was formed by members of EMPEROR, SATYRICON along with DARKTHRONE mentor Fenriz in 1994. The group released the debut album, 'Nordavind', in 1995 and the record featured adaptions of old Norwegian Folk songs recorded a multitude of acoustic instrumentation. STORM also submitted the track 'Oppunder Skrent Og Villmark' to the Moonfog label's compilation 'Crusade From The North.
Vocals were notably supplied by ex-THE 3RD AND THE MORTAL vocalist KARI RUESLATTEN, although Satyr Wongraven of SATYRICON and Herr Nagell also contributed vocals adding a good deal of diversity to the material.
