STURMGEIST, established in the autumn of 2002, is the solo endeavour of PERSONA, MONUMENTUM and SOLEFALD's Cornelius Jakhelln Brastad. As well as crafting the STURMGEIST debut 'Meister Mephisto' for French label Season of Mist, featuring guest appearances by members of BORKNAGAR, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER and DIABOLIC, Cornelius would also publish a book of prose entitled 'Yggdraliv. Quadra Natura 0011'. For live work in Europe opening for CARPATHIAN FOREST Brastad drafted guitarists 'Sturmrik Wilde' (Henrik Strømme) and John E. Jacobsen (a.k.a. Panzer) with the BORKNAGAR, LUNARIS and SPIRAL ARCHITECT credited drummer Asgeir Mickelson.

Season Of Mist issued the 'Über' sophomore album, recorded at Børge Finstad's TopRoom Studio from October 2005 to January 2006, in October 2006. TSJUDER, GRIMFIST and THE CUMSHOTS man Anti Christian (a.k.a. Christian Svendsen) supplied session drums. Included would be a cover version of FALCO's hit 'Rock Me Amadeus'.
