Gothenburg Thrashers NONE were formulated during 1996 by guitarists Henrik Danhage and Pierre Lysell, the latter previously operational with BEYOND, owner of Adrenalin Studios and held tie to THE PROVENANCE. In 1997 the pair enrolled CRYSTAL AGE and HAMMERFALL bassist Fredrik Larsson and initial demos followed in 1998. A further demo session followed, after which, during December of 1999, Sören Fardvik took command of the drums. Progress with NONE was barred though when Danhage was enticed away into the ranks of EVERGREY.

Pierre Lysell would tempt for NIGHTRAGE on their September 2005 US tour dates as session guitarist. Both Danhage and Larsson would also feature with DEATH DESTRUCTION. Larsson worked on HAMMERFALL vocalist Joacim Cans solo project CANS. Two ex-NONE members, Larsson and guitarist Patrick Moehlenbrock joined SHOT INJECTION.

In July 2006 Fredrik Larsson joined the ranks of EVERGREY. Fredrik Larsson rejoined the HAMMERFALL ranks in April 2007.
