SUPREME MAJESTY is a Gothenburg melody based Power Metal act forged in 1999. The July 2001 debut 'Tales Of A Tragic Kingdom' arrived courtesy of Germany's Massacre Records. The band membership initially sprang from the Black influenced Death Metal combo MORTUM with guitarists Chrille Andersson, Rille Svensson and drummer Bartek Nalezinski all involved. Andersson also had ties with NON SERVIAM (billed as 'Tyr') and HELLSPELL.

SUPREME MAJESTY's first vocalist, Rikard Larson, was a veteran of MAGICA and MERCY, the latter act where he went under the stage name 'Rick Wine'. The group bowed in with the mini-album 'Divine Empire' in June 1999. Erstwhile DEEP QUEST singer Joakim Olsson would take the microphone for the 2001 album. The bands rhythm section also saw an about change with Daniel Andersson on bass, also performing as guitarist in NON SERVIAM(as 'Janos'), and IMMERSED IN BLOOD drummer Jocke Unger arriving. SUPREME MAJESTY boosted their numbers to a sextet in October of 2003, enlisting the LITTLE YANKEES and RANSOM credited guitarist Tobias Wernersson, this move enabling Chrille Andersson to prioritise keyboards.

SUPREME MAJESTY lost the services of drummer Jocke Unger in August of 2004, the ex-member opting out to concentrate on his other act SGT. CARNAGE. A replacement would be named in former IN BLACK and SANZIA man Johan Rydberg. SUPREME MAJESTY set 'Elements Of Creation' as the title for their third full-length album, due in early 2005. However, that September the group revealed major structural changes, with singer Joakim Olsson, guitarist Rille Svensson and drummer Johan Redberg all exiting.

In January 2006 the band announced a new keyboard player in Mattias Holmgren, previously known as drummer for NAGLFAR, SKYFIRE, AZURE and EMBRACING. The following month SUPREME MAJESTY inducted bassist Håkan Nyander, ex-ROAD, SERENADE, SANZIA and INBLACK, into the group's ranks. Just a few weeks later FALCONER guitarist Jimmy Hedlund completed the line-up.

Bassist Håkan Nyander joined the ranks of CLOUDSCAPE in June 2009.
