In mid 2005 DARK TRANQUILLITY guitarist Niklas Sundin unveiled a Gothenburg project union with vocalist / bassist Jonatan Nordenstam, and THE PROVENANCE pairing of guitarist Joakim Rosén and drummer Joel Lindell billed LAETHORA. Work on the new band's debut album, 'March Of The Parasite', commenced in August.

A unique, alternate mix of the song 'Lack Void Remembrance' was included on The End Records compilation album 'Alternate Endings: A Diverse Sound Collective Featuring A Distinguished Ensemble' in March. In the USA, The End Records released the album 'March Of The Parasite' in February 2007 whilst European territories were covered by French imprint Osmose Productions.

During 2008 LAETHORA posted demo versions of two new tracks, 'Uproar' and 'New Day', on their Myspace site. In March 2009 LAETHORA finished recording its second album 'The Light In Which We All Burn'. These tracks were mixed at Sonores/Gesperrt Studios during May.
