Biography
The sister of ex-EUROPE guitarist JOHN NORUM, born September 18th 1965. Tone Norum's album debut, 'One Of A Kind', was heavily reliant on the input of EUROPE members JOEY TEMPEST, Mic Michaeli and Ian Haugland. Indeed, the 1987 issued record was produced by Tempest, who also took a role in songwriting. That same year TONE NORUM scored one of the biggest hits in Swedish history with the number one 'Allt Som Jag Känner', a duet with ex-EASY ACTION singer TOMMY NILSSON, which stayed at number 1 for a four week run. Previously, TONE NORUM had hit the Swedish charts with a 1985 single 'Can't You Stay'.
1988's 'This Time' followed a similar AOR style to the first. YNGWIE MALMSTEEN notably guested. Since 1992 Tone has tended to go more towards a Poppier direction.
