Biography

A Väsby based second wave Thrash act concened in the spring of 1998. PANDEMONIC was created by a collection of Death Metal veterans including former INTERNAL DECAY and AD INFINITUM guitarist Micke Jacobsson and ex-SOILS OF FATE and SORG drummer Nicke Karlsson. This duo would be joined by singer Micke Ullenius and former AD INFINITUM bassist Janne 'De Sade' Sokura, the latter making way for Harry Virtanen of DEFORMITY pedigree.

PANDEMONIC issued an opening demo 'Lycanthropy'. It would be followed up on by the werewolf themed 2000 album 'The Authors Of Nightfear'.

The band would lose Karlsson bringing in 'Mackan' as replacement. Before long though Marcus Jonsson, a veteran of MORTIFER, FLAGELLATION and GENOCRUSH FEROX, was announced as the man on the drum stool. Between 2002 and 2003 Eric Gjerdrum (a.k.a. Eric Young), drummer of CRASHDÏET, played guitar in PANDEMONIC and later bass as a live session musician as Virtanen exited due to quoted musical differences. Demo product included the 2002 'Ravenous' session and 'The Art Of Hunting' in 2003.

In October 2003 bassist Harry Virtanen forged a union with ex-INCENDIARY guitarist Pontus Arvidson to found Stockholm Thrash act CHAINSAW. Virtanen also operated side project VȪRGUS. In 2004 Linus Ekström, ex-SIEBENBÜRGEN, joined PANDEMONIC on lead guitar.
