Biography

The Birmingham based guitarist Stevie Young is the cousin of Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC fame. Prior to formulating LITTLE BIG HORN, Young plied his trade with the Jive Records signed STARFIGHTERS for two commendable albums and a series of high profile North American tours. The guitarist had also played with AC/DC, temporarily replacing the recuperating Malcolm on the Australian group's North American 'Blow Up Your Video' tour.

With the final STARFIGHTERS split, Young, the BLITZBLOWN, SWORN SECRET, FPG and TOXIC AVENGER credited guitarist Nick Slater and bass player Steve Redvers (a.k.a. Steve Hill) formed LITTLE BIG HORN and signed to AC/DC's management. company. Redvers had also enjoyed a term with London band THE GRIP and had rehearsed for a short term with BLACK SABBATH. Vocalist Ivan Norris was a former member of BAJJON and CAPRICE, drummer Ian Charles had been with WARHEAD.

The quartet supported LOVE/HATE and L.A. GUNS on their 1991 British tours as well as GUN during 1992, but, ultimately, LITTLE BIG HORN failed to secure a deal despite commendable press attention. Following live dates in Holland during May of 1993, with a new singer Clive, the band folded. Slater took a break from music, studying politics at university, before going on to join HOPELESS, modern Grunge act GRIEF SOCIETY and KODEINE. Redvers joined DEEP PURPLE's road crew. Ivan Norris joined VAN DAMNE, featuring on their 1997 Japanese released 'Renaissance' album.
