FRAMED was the group founded in April 1982 by bassist Enid Williams after her departure from GIRLSCHOOL. The band was forged by pulling in former SADISTA SISTERS and ELGIN MARBLES guitarist Barbara Spitz, ex SHAM 69 and WANDERERS guitarist Dave Parsons and Spitz's erstwhile ELGIN MARBLES colleague and drummer Ian Whitewood.

This combination ultimately released a brace of independently issued singles during 1982.
