Biography

Ex-Goth MARCH VIOLETS and BATFISH singer Sigh (Simon Denbigh) formed D-ROK with original members guitarist Chi, bassist John Mac and drummer Al Mogg in Leeds. The 'Oblivion' album, clad in lavish gatefold sleeve artwork, was issued by the Warhammer Records label, a subsidiary of fantasy giants Games Workshop. QUEEN's BRIAN MAY, whose son was apparently an avid Games Workshop collector, features on the album. Chi and Mogg quit following the release of the record to be replaced by guitarist Parnell and drummer Adam.

D-ROK undertook a lengthy club tour to promote the record then secured a support slot with UFO and WRAITH, but strangely nothing has been heard of them since 1993.

Simon Denbigh would be later credited as 'Nurse to the doctor', a member of THE SISTERS OF MERCY, and apparently as technician for their infamous drum computer Dr. Avalanche.
