MIDNIGHT FLYER comprised of former STONE THE CROWS vocalist MAGGIE BELL, ex SAVOY BROWN, FOGHAT and JOE JAMMER bassist Tony Stevens, erstwhile WHITESNAKE drummer Dave Dowle together with keyboard player Chris Parren and guiarist Anthony Glynne.

MIDNIGHT FLYER's eponymous 1981 album was issued on LED ZEPPELIN's Swansong label and produced by BAD COMPANY guitarist MICK RALPHS.

A tour of Europe with BOB SEGAR followed prior to dates in America with AC/DC.

MIDNIGHT FLYER folded. Stevens would join ROGER CHAPMAN's band and eventually rejoin FOGHAT. Dowle would form part of the backing band for Australian Hard Rock sisters CHEETAH at their memorable 1982 Reading Festival performance.
