A mid 60s band that included some illustrious names. Ex-ROYAL CREST and THE PROFILES guitarist MILLER ANDERSON later formed a duo with drummer Dave Dufort before the pair created THE SCENERY. Anderson and Dufort also figured in the 1968 band PAPER BLITZ TISSUE where Dufort was replaced by a pre YES Bill Bruford.

The drummer would put together a short lived band in 1969 with CLOUDS bassist Ian Ellis and ex-TEAR GAS vocalist Alex Harvey before the latter created his own SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND. Anderson recreated THE SCENERY before joining the KEEF HARTLEY BAND for a lengthy duration and a solo album in 1971. By 1983 Anderson had created HEMLOCK with bassist Jim Leverton, both then joining SAVOY BROWN.

A brief spell in BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS led Anderson to the 1975 band DOG SOLDIER and then T REX for the 'Dandy In The Underworld' record. THE DUKES followed then STAN WEBB'S SPEEDWAY and CHICKENSHACK. By the mid 80s Anderson had appeared on the MOUNTAIN album 'Go For Your Life' and with the SPENCER DAVIS GROUP. Latterly Anderson has featured on DEEP PURPLE keyboard player JON LORD's solo album 'Pictured Within'.

Post PAPER BLITZ TISSUE Dufort joined EAST OF EDEN, worked with KEVIN AYERSand MIKE OLDFIELD before joining Swedish Rock band E.F. BAND then NWoBHM institution ANGELWITCH. His last effort on the rock front was PHANTASM.

THE VOICE guitarist MICK RONSON found fame with MOTT THE HOOPLE.
