Biography
A band that included the former RIO duo of guitarist Jon Willoughby and drummer Steve Rodford. Willoughby had previously operated under his then stage name of Jon Neil. Rodford is the son of ARGENT drummer Jim Rodford. Bassist Bob Skeat is ex-WILDLIFE and 3 STONE. Vocalist Tina Egan, brother of THE SKIDS / VISAGE man Rusty Egan, debuted fronting Soul act the Q TIPS following PAUL YOUNG's departure for a solo career. Egan then teamed up with the notorious HELLFIRE CLUB, made of ex-THE CULT drummer Les Warner, KILLING JOKE bassist Paul Raven and THIN LIZZY and MOTÖRHEAD guitarist Brian Robertson. HELLFIRE CLUB soon dissolved and Egan was next found with AOR act IF ONLY. This outfit managed just the one album after which Egan, together with Dutch keyboard player Judit Armstrong created the TINA EGAN BAND.
Egan has also contributed vocals to BAD COMPANY's 1990 'Holy Water' album. Willoughby and Rodford featured on the 1994 album 'Trip Through Paradise' by THE KICK, a band led by ex-TEN YEARS AFTER bassist Leo Lyons. Rodford teamed up with his father, ex-DOG SOLDIER guitarist Derek Griffiths and former STRAWBS keyboard player Chris Patten to create WICKED in 1998.
