Ukrainian, totally anonymous Black Metal steeped in ancestral Slavonic mythology and Nietzschean philosophy. HATE FOREST debuted with the 'Scythia' tape released through Beverina Productions, this later seeing Western European distribution via Pussy God. The EP 'Darkness' followed, released via Miriquidi Productions. Prior to the issue of the 2002 album 'The Most Ancient Ones', issued by the British Supernal label, HATE FOREST had recorded 'The Curse' demo with a different line up. These songs would be completely re-recorded by a newer version of the band for the album.

HATE FOREST's 2003 offering 'The Twilight Thickets', issued by Blutreinheit Productions and limited to 500 hand numbered copies, would be a comilation of 'The Curse' demo plus unreleased 2000 ambient demo recordings entitled 'Temple Forest'. Ledo Takas issued two new tracks in 2004 as the limited edition of 666 copies, 7" single 'Resistance'.

HATE FOREST releases in 2006 included the compilation 'Nietzscheism' and album 'Sorrow'.
