Biography

A band unit formed by ex-THIN LIZZY / MOTÖRHEAD and HELLFIRE CLUB guitarist Brian Robertson in early 1995 alongside ex-RED DOGS and FIREBYRDS man Paul Guerin. The guitarist had also been a former guitar roadie for UFO's Michael Schenker, contributing acoustic guitar to Schenker's own 1994 album 'Thank You'. Initially the band toured the UK during the Summer simply billed as the BRIAN ROBERTSON BAND, but took on THE CLAN title for an EP release.

The quintet's debut single release, entitled 'That's All', was essentially a demo, only available by mail order. The band toured Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia in late 1995, but the trek was cut short following an incident in which Robertson broke his thumb. Guerin went back to his day job as a roadie for Schenker. In 1999 Robertson would turn up on tour in Scandinavia with esteemed Finnish Rockers FIVE FIFTEEN and Swedes LOTUS performing THIN LIZZY tracks. Paul Guerin resurfaced in February of 2004, having joined THE QUIREBOYS.
