Boogie Rock trio dating from school band origins in 1979, the Bebbington, Merseyside based ENGINE became steadfast favourites on the biker festival scene. The first album 'Well Oiled' was financed by 'Backstreet Heroes' biker magazine in 1989. 1992 the band put out the cassette only album 'Rough 'n' Ready' featuring live and studio recordings. Side 1 contains songs from a live show at the Tivoli in Buckley from September 26th 1991 and from the Kent Custom Bike Show from July 9th 1988. Side 2 contains studio tracks from 1988 to 1990. 'Autowreck' followed in 1993. ENGINE were still a going concern well into the late 90's. The group played their swansong show at The Limelight club in Crewe in September 1997.
