Short lived 1976 band formed by URIAH HEEP refugee KEN HENSLEY. Acting as a keyboard player in URIAH HEEP Hensley and provided the main songwriting backbone of the band for many years.

Joining him in SHOTGUN was former KINKS keyboard player Ian Gibbons and ex BEDLAM and BIG BERTHA bassist Denny Ball.

SHOTGUN folded after a handful of gigs as Hensley joined American Rockers BLACKFOOT.

Pete Thompson, previously a member of SILVERHEAD and the DAVID BYRON BAND, later joined ROBIN TROWER's band for his 1985 'Beyond The Mist' album.
