Biography

DEAD MAN IN RENO is a Tuscaloosa, Alabama based Metal band founded during 2003, initially taking the title SILENT FALL. The inaugural membership involved singer Sam Conyers, guitarists Chris Penuel and Justin Sansom, bass player Drew Shelnutt with George Edmondson on drums. However, Conyers exited and Sansom took over the lead vocal role. Stuart Ogran, from WORTHY OF SUFFERING and AFTER THE MASQUERADE, filled the guitar vacancy. Concerts were undertaken under this formative brand before the switch to DEAD MAN IN RENO and contract with Candlelight Records in May 2006.

Promoting their debut September 2006 eponymous Jamie King produced album, released by Abstract Sounds in the UK and Candlelight in the USA, the band supported SIKTH and ARCHITECTS on their October UK tour dates. Brian Huggins replaced Henderson but DEAD MAN IN RENO then folded.
