Biography
Castro Valley High School Rock band EZ-STREET formed in Hayward, California during the late 70's and would be notable for including two future FAITH NO MORE members, guitarist Jim Martin and drummer Mike Bordin, as well as the late METALLICA bassist Cliff Burton. Other members included vocalist Kevin Costa and guitarist Danny Magalhaes, with Rocky Labour also manning the drums at one stage. EZ-STREET finished fourth in the 1979 Hayward Area "Battle of the Bands" competition, where their three song set included a cover version of LOU REED's 'Rock And Roll'.
Martin and Burton would continue to perform together after EZ-STREET disbanded under the name AGENTS OF MISFORTUNE. In 1982 Burton joined TRAUMA before teaming up with METALLICA.
Burton died on 27th September 1986.
