RAZOR'S EDGE is a Los Angeles AC/DC covers band notably including former AC/DC drummer Chris Slade, the distinctive bald headed veteran also holding a prior tradition with URIAH HEEP, MANFRED MANN and THE FIRM. The band also numbered vocalist Joe Leste of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and BANG TANGO, Brent Woods from the VINCE NEIL band, Anthony Focx of BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and Mark Dutton (a.k.a. Muddy Stardust) from BURNING TREE, L.A. GUNS and GILBY CLARKE. The inaugural RAZOR'S EDGE performance was held on 13th January 2005 at Club Vodka's Pink Pussycat in Hollywood, California.

During late 2005 it was revealed Slade was involved with 100 PROOF, this act comprising the internationally known cast comprising JIZZY PEARL of LOVE/HATE, L.A. GUNS and RATT on lead vocals, Stacey Blades from L.A. GUNS on guitar, Mike Duda of W.A.S.P. on bass.

In January 2006 Chris Slade joined up with DAMAGE CONTROL, a new band assembled by former MAGNUM guitarist ROBIN GEORGE and bassist PETE WAY of UFO, OZZY OSBOURNE and WAYSTED repute. Chris Slade put in a notable one off performance as part of THE BIG BALL STARS, alongside vocalist ROBIN McAULEY, of McAULEY SCHENKER GROUP, FAR CORPORATION and SURVIVOR, guitarist John Corabi, of MȪTLEY CRÜE, UNION and RATT, keyboard player Teddy Zig-Zag, of GUNS 'N ROSES, plus the RATT credited Robbie Crane on bass and Brent Woods from the VINCE NEIL band, in a live set on January 27th 2007 at The Knitting Factory in Hollywood, California.

Dutton reformed BURNING TREE and also toured with the MARC FORD band.
