CKY vocalist / guitarist Deron Miller forged WORLD UNDER BLOOD following completion of his main act's 2006 European dates. The Oakland, California based project involved drummer Tim Yeung, of VITAL REMAINS and HATE ETERNAL repute. On October 27th the musicians entered a Los Angeles studio to cut three tracks working with former MACHINE HEAD, MEDICATION and SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader as engineer. The mixdown came courtesy of TESTAMENT, DEATH and OBITUARY guitarist JAMES MURPHY.

WORLD UNDER BLOOD was complemented by ex-DECREPIT BIRTH bassist Risha Eryavac and SLEEP TERROR and ALL SHALL PERISH guitarist Luke Jaeger.

In April 2008 the band entered the studio to record four tracks, one being a cover version of MEGADETH's 'Wake Up Dead'.
