A legendary name in Black Metal circles. San Fransisco's VON, reportedly created back in 1987, debuted with the six track demo of ritual Black Metal entitled 'Satanic Blood' in 1991. This tape made waves internationally, securing the band their cult status. The demo, with additional tracks, was re-issued on CD format by the Hammerheart label in 1999. VON came to greater public attention courtesy of high profile covers by artists such as DARK FUNERAL and KRIEG.

In February of 2003 Nuclear War Now! Productions appeased the Black Metal underground further with the double gatefold album 'Satanic Blood Angel'. This release, pressed in heavyweight vinyl, comprised the 'Satanic Blood' demo sessions, an unreleased second

demo, 'Blood Angel' and a live soundboard recording from 1991. The first 200 copies of the album, pressed on 180 gramm vinyl, would be lavishly packaged with stickers, back patch and poster.
