CHASTAIN and C.J.S.S. driving force guitarist David T. Chastain was originally from Atlanta, Georgia but wound up making a name for himself in Cincinnati, Ohio where he would also indulge himself in a series of solo records. Other musicians making an appearance include CHASTAIN drummer Ken Mary, bassist David Harbour and for the 'Elegant Seduction' album, drummer Rick Porter. 1994's 'Next Planet Please' saw the retention of Harbour with fresh drummer Mike Haid.

Chastain teamed up with ARCH RIVAL's Michael Harris in 1999 for a new project ZANISTER. A further project band SOUTHERN GENTLEMEN with CHASTAIN's rhythm section of bassist Kelly Kekes and drummer Dennis Lesh issued the 2000 album 'Exotic Dancer Blues'. The guitarist also operates the Blues based GEORGIA BLUES DAWGS.
