THE ORGANIZATION was an evolvement out of highly regarded Bay Area Speed Metal band DEATH ANGEL. The band, essentially DEATH ANGEL minus vocalist Mark Osegueda, pursued a more mainstream approach in an effort to distance themselves from the faltering Thrash scene. Two albums for the Metal Blade label were delivered but ultimately THE ORGINAZATION folded around 1996.

Some members turned up in Punk band BIG SHRIMP. In later years Cavestany and Galeon reforged links with Osegueda to create SWARM for a self financed EP.
