Biography

Founded by Santiago Dobles during 1995 and fronted by his sister, Danishta Rivero, a classically trained soprano. AGHORA's rhythm section boasted the CYNIC, DEATH and GORDIAN KNOT teaming of bassist Sean Malone and drummer Sean Reinert. AGHORA had a switch in rhythm sections during mid June 2002 with both Malone and Reinert being supplanted by Alan Goldstein and Richard Komatz respectively. A new album, 'Formless', was readied during the latter half of the year, by this stage the bass position being doled out to former SYMPHONY X man Andy DeLuca.

Sean Reinert rejoined AGHORA in 2003 to promote the 'Formless' album. This recording featured two lead singers, Danishta Rivero and Suzie Green. In 2004 Reinert re-emerged in Prog Rock outfit AEON SPOKE, touting the album 'Above The Buried Cry'.

AGHORA recorded second album 'Formless' with producer Neil Kernon in September 2006. The group line-up at this juncture involved vocalist Diana Serra, guitarist Santiago Dobles, bassist Alan Goldstein with both Sean Reinert and Giann Rubio handling drums.
