Biography
ARABIA pooled a unique degree of melodic Rock talent. Bassist Dennis St. James (a.k.a. Dennis Feldman) has a long tradition stretching back through stints with HEAVEN, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP and SKULL whilst drummer Bobby Marks made his name with TANGIER and CINDERELLA. The band had pre-recording operated under the band title SCARECROW releasing a 1991 album that featured TWISTED SISTER's Eddie Ojeda on guitar and bass player Rex Lengyel.
Following the '1001 Nights' record ARABIA would undergo a serious overhaul in personnel during 2002 with only frontman John Blaze surviving. The new look band announced in August would comprise of Blaze alongside SWIFT KICK and ADRIANGALE guitarist Eddie Campbell, ANGEL bass player Randy Gregg and drummer Imy James. The erstwhile ARABIA pack of Bobby Marks, Dennis St. Feldman, T.J. Jordan and Jack Walker resurfaced in November with their new band dubbed the ICEHOUSE PROJECT.
A brand new ARABIA surfaced in 2006, projecting a new album for September release through Z Records. The new look band comprised singer John Blaze, guitarist Eddie Campbell and the SWIFT KICK rhythm section of bass player Rick Panzica with Richie Raccuglia on the drums.
In mid 2009 ARABIA announced intentions for a fresh studio album.
