Baltimore melodic Hard Rock act CHILD'S PLAY, founded in 1984, produced demos with Kim Fowley and Paul Lani behind the desk prior to landing an album deal with Chrysalis Records. Howard Benson produced the resulting 'Rat Race' album. Live promotion would include US gigs throughout October 1990 supporting COLD SWEAT. Singer Brian Jack exited in 1991, striking out on his own with a mellow solo album 'Promise Of Love'. CHILD'S PLAY persevered, bringing in new vocalist Tommy McRae and issuing the follow up 'Long Way' in 1993. Post CHILD'S PLAY, both bassist Idzi and drummer John Allen formed STARSEED SPEED.
