EVENT is a Boston, Massachusetts Progressive Metal band formulated as MYSTIC FISHOOK at the esteemed Berklee College of Music during 1995. The band recorded their first album, 'Electric Skies' in 1997, subsequently licensing this set, complete with a hastily applied sticker stating "Event Formerly Mystic Fishook" to Japan, Europe and South America. In late 1999 EVENT recorded their sophomore release 'Human Condition', this record distributed via Inside Out Music America during 2001. Despite issue of third album ' Scratching At The Surface', EVENT folded in 2003.

In 2005 bassist Jay Rigney, also active with both MVP and JOE STUMP'S REIGN OF TERROR, joined HOLYHELL.
