THE TENTH CIRCLE, initially branded as CIRRHOSIS upon conception in 2001, is a band project featuring ex-HOW IT ENDS vocalist Ross Whitecavage and drummer Tim Yeung, a scene veteran of COUNCIL OF THE FALLEN, WINDBREED, SHAITHUS, AGIEL, HATE ETERNAL, DECREPIT BIRTH, NEVERS END, DIABOLIC, VITAL REMAINS and ALL THAT REMAINS. The previous CIRRHOSIS line-up comprised singer Steve Waterman, guitarists Ross Gerson and Dave Moody, bassist Jason Holinger with Rob Yellets on drums.

The band completed recordings for a debut album, 'Of War And Reflection', in May 2005. The record was laid down at Trax East Studios in New Jersey with producer Eric Rachel and issued in January 2006.
