Biography
Minneapolis modern Rock outfit forged in early 2002 under the formative title of MARS TO MERCURY. The group features the high profile figure of bassist Krys Baratto, a man citing a wealth of credits including THE REAL McCOYS, Robbin Crosby's SECRET SERVICE, JUICE 13, C.C. DeVille's projects THE STEPMOTHERS and SAMANTHA 7, GREAT WHITE and even an association with GUNS N' ROSES.
The band rapidly generated both local and national awareness by featuring three tracks on the highly popular TV soap 'The Young & The Restless'. Other valuable exposure included a Top 50 qualifying place in The American Music Awards® Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award 2003 Competition and demo recordings cut at the expense of Maverick Records.
MODIFY issued the four track 'There's Nothing Out There' EP, recorded at The Terrarium in Minneapolis, in March of 2004. The band announced their signature to Fastlane Records in January 2005.
