This PANTERA related project was unveiled in January of 2003. Guitarist Dimebag Darrell and drummer Vinnie Paul united with DIESEL MACHINE and ex-HALFORD guitarist Patrick Lachman, taking on a lead vocal role, and erstwhile JERRY-CANTRELL guitarist Sean Matthews, as bassist. The band subsequently evolved into DAMAGEPLAN.
