Biography

SICK MUTHAFUCKERS was actually a TWISTED SISTER tribute band rather bizarrely fronted by then ex-TWISTED SISTER frontman DEE SNIDER. The conception of SICK MUTHAFUCKERS came together when MARILYN MANSON bassist Twiggy Ramirez and NINE INCH NAILS guitarist Robin Fink suggested to Snider that a one off New York gig might be a blast. The sold out audience and the reaction to this show prompted Snider, who was also busying himself with his own act WIDOWMAKER, into founding a more permanent version of SICK MUTHAFUCKERS.

Recruits came from local musicians guitarist Tony Pallmucci, drummer Charlie Mills and two STRENGTH members guitarist Keith Alexander and bassist Derek Tailor. Alexander was also better known for his roles in CARNIVORE and PRIMAL SCREAM. Various ex-members of TWISTED SISTER have been known to jam with the band who perform on a regular basis in New York. Indeed, Snider was reunited with TWISTED SISTER colleagues Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and A.J. Pero (Mark Mendoza declined) at an SICK MUTHAFUCKERS show at the Industry Club in New York in July 1997.

Snider also operated his own Rock radio show and became involved in the horror movie industry listing 'Helltown' and 'Strangelands' to his credit before re-activating TWISTED SISTER. On 11th July 2005 guitarist Keith Alexander was killed in a biking accident.
