Fusion Rock outfit OHM is centred on erstwhile MEGADETH and DAMN THE MACHINE guitarist CHRIS POLAND. Both fretless bass player Robertino Pagliari and drummer David Eagle are seasoned session players. OHM teamed up ex-TESTAMENT guitarist Alex Skolnick's Jazz based ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO and another erstwhile MEGADETH man MARTY FRIEDMAN for a September 2003 'Guitarevolution' of North America.

New studio recordings for OHM subsequent to the tour would feature Kofi Baker on drums, son of the legendary CREAM drummer GINGER BAKER. In late 2003 it would be confirmed that Chris Poland had contributed guitar solos to the MEGADETH comeback album. Poland would also guest on the LAMB OF GOD 'Ashes Of The Wake' album.

A live OHM set, 'Live On KPFK 90.7 FM Pacifica Radio', emerged through the Finnish Lion Music label in 2004. Although recorded totally live in the station's conference room the playing quality of this broadcast was such that many listeners believed they were hearing album tracks. OHM prepared a new studio album,at first billed 'Compass Of The Heart' but subsequently switched to 'Amino Acid Flashback', for October 2005 release. Poland also took time out to guest on the PHARAOH album 'The Longest Night'.

Unveiled in early 2009 would be OHMPHREY, an "improv-heavy" band created by Chris Poland and his OHM colleague Robertino Pagliari alongside jam-band masters Jake Cinnger, Joel Cummins, and Kris Myer of UMPHREY'S MCGEE. The group released its self-titled debut album on 19th May 2009 via Magna Carta Records.
