Death Metal band previously known for their 1997 demo 'Deeper Than What You Can See' as CALIPH. Forged in Hagerstwown, Maryland during 1996, the group relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Guitarist Adam Wright also shares duties with his other act STRONG INTENTIONS. Drummer Adam Brown sessioned on Drone act FULCI's 2005 album 'Dead Lights, Red Sky'.

As CALIPH the act was fronted by singer Cody and included guitarist Jeremy who quit in June of 1999. His place was taken by Chaz Campbell, previously with Christian Death Metal act EUCHARIST. Aaron Kirkpatrick previously held the bass position whilst vocals were held down by Zach Burhman.

BODYBAG ROMANCE the band issued a further demo session 'What To Do If You Are Left Behind' and a 7" single on Fistfight Records. BODYBAG ROMANCE's 'Gincrusher' album included a version of MOUNTAIN's 'Mississippi Queen'.

The band splintered, leaving only a duo of vocalist Josh Anxt and guitarist Chaz Campbell.
