SCARECROW boasted a high degree of melodic Rock pedigree. Drummer Bobby Marks has experience with both TANGIER and CINDERELLA. Although TWISTED SISTER veteran Eddie Ojeda would, according to reports, record the guitars for the 1991 album, it would be T.J. Jordan credited as a band member.

SCARECROW, retaining frontman John Blaze, Bobby Marks and T.J. Jordan, would subsequently morph into ARABIA adding the services of erstwhile MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP and HEAVEN bassist Dennis St. James. ARABIA issued the '1001 Nights' album, which included re-works of SCARECROW material, through Z Records.
