TESCO VEE AND THE MEATKREW

Biography

Essentially a version of THE MEATMEN. The Michigan Punks split in 1983 and frontman Tesco Vee relocated to Washington D.C to recreate the band. Enlisted were former MINOR THREAT guitarists Brian Baker and Lyle Preslar, bassist Bert Queriroz and drummer Eric Zelsder.

This version of the band dubbed TESCO VEE AND THE MEATKREW issued the 'Dutch Hercules' album. They reverted to THE MEATMEN in 1985 bringing in bassist Graham McColluch. Baker quit to join DAG NASTY in 1986. He would later join Los Angeles band JUNKYARD and BAD RELIGION. Preslar formed part of a formative version of SAMHAIN.
