Musicmight guidelines for submission.

These submission rules are important to maintain the integrity of data input onto the Musicmight database. We ask you add information in an intelligent manner and respect the efforts of others involved with this website. If users do not follow guidelines they risk rejection of submissions. Therefore, please take the time to read the rules before registering and adding data. A few mistakes as a user learns to use the database system are acceptable. Ignoring the rules and repeat offenses will lose you points and possibly get your account deleted. Any deliberate abuse of Musicmight, sabotage or adding deliberately false information, will result in your ISP being reported to your ISP.

Copyright: All biographical content is copyrighted, which means simply you do not have permission to copy it without written permission.

Please note: All inclusions are at the complete discretion of the Musicmight admin team. We will NOT tolerate the inclusion of symbols or subject matter that promote racial hatred.

Completeness and integrity of information.

Please try to include as much information as possible. In respect of musicians personal details, please include the surname if known ("John" is not much use in a database…) and all known previous / associated acts. It is this level of detail that gives Musicmight its distinction.

Please make special effort to use correct spelling, respecting punctuation and proper capitalization. Please remember the 'Search' functions will not pick up information that has been mis-spelled.

Current information.

Please make sure all artist information is current and up to date. This includes musicians, releases and links.

English.

The Musicmight database is English. However, please DO NOT translate song titles but retain the original title. A general rule is to add information exactly as it appears on the recording sleeve.

Only OFFICIAL recordings. This means NO bootlegs.
